At Hip Circle, we would like to invite people of all genders to join us for a powerful speaking, dinner, and silent auction event to celebrate women, challenge stereotypes, and benefit women in the Evanston/Rogers Park community with your support.

Presenting Speaker
The presenting speaker at #EachforEqual is Heather 'Byrd' Roberts, a Chicago-based poet, performer, teaching artist, and author.
Her first chapbook, 'Mahogany: A Love Letter To Black,' was published in 2016. Byrd’s work focuses on the intersectionality between form and freedom. She uses her experiences as a black woman in a variety of spaces to shed light on issues of privilege, love, and familial relationships. Her work unlocks the opportunity for invisible voices to be heard.Additional Engagement
All attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in a Belly Dance experience, led by Malik Turley, the Executive Director of Hip Circle Empowerment Center.
