This is an ever-evolving list based on the questions we get at the center. Have a question that isn’t answered here? Let us know and it will likely appear on the list soon!
Can I come and watch a class/workshop?
For the comfort of all of our clients, we don’t permit observers in our classes or workshops. You’re welcome to do a drop-in to give a class a try. We believe participating will give you a much better sense of our offerings than simply watching.
Can I come to any class as a beginner?
You are welcome in almost all the classes on the schedule at any experience level. We do have a few bellydance classes & workshops that are designed for experienced dancers – take a look at our Bellydance – Where do I start page for details. Our instructors are adept at offering modifications and adjustments to help you get the most out of our classes. Do be sure to let your instructor know that you’re just getting started so she can help you from the start.
I’m a person with disabilities – can I take a class?
Yes! We welcome the challenge to modify our classes to fit the needs of ALL women & girls. Our instructors are trained professionals that can help make adjustments for participants, and strive to make the class a meaningful, healthy experience for all students. If you will need specific modifications and would like to check in with us before registering, please drop us an email!

Dance & Mat classes – Form-fitting clothing will enable your teacher help you and these classes are done barefoot. However, we encourage you to come as you are most comfortable.
Strength/Cardio classes – Supportive gym shoes are recommended.
Can my friend use a “punch” on my class card?
Nope, but she is welcome to purchase a drop-in class if she is only coming once, or she can get her own class card and save alongside you.
Can I bring my baby/child with me to the class/workshop?
For our adult fitness classes, daughters 7-11 may attend (for the regular class fee) with their mother. Girls 12+ are welcome in our adult classes on their own. Babies are welcome to be worn at any of our bellydance classes and are welcome to share your mat in Pilates until they start crawling. Children are welcome in our family workshops if they are within the published age range for the content.
For safety & permitting reasons, we do not allow children/babies to be in the space without participating in classes/workshops/events.
